New Book

Another novel of the New Orleans Police, this one is the first in a new series.  The book should be available in late December or, more likely, early to mid-January.

When the final touches have been gone through, and the novel cleared for publication, it will be available on Amazon.com.  Start saving for the $12.95 necessary to get the book.  Buy early and often.

Crazy Fruit Loops

The Federal Gummit has issued orders to Federal

employees that they are not to read any of the thousands of

pages of documents aired by Wiki Leaks.  Reason:  The

Information is still classified.  This has to be the dumbest

order given, in recent history.  We want everyone else

on the planet to be familiar with things that may affect

their jobs, but not American citizens.

Mr. Wiki needs to take a long walk off a short pier.  Followed

by the dolt who gave this order.

Yes & No

"Jester" claims to be responsible for the net failure of WikiLeaks.  I am against net/email attacks, on general principals.  On the other hand – Mr. WikiLeaks deserves to be boiled in fish oil.  I feel like saying, 'Well done, but don't do it again .  .  .  unless you have to.'

Happy Thanksgiving.  Just ............. Happy Thanksgiving.

Thursday, November 11, 2010

Copied from the blog of BOREPATCH:

Col. McCrae's poem In Flanders Field:

In Flanders fields the poppies grow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie,
In Flanders fields.

Veteran's Day.  It's not just a day that the garbage isn't picked up, or the mail not delivered.
