Tell the families of the victims that water boarding is "cruel and unusual." Is leaping from a burning building and then crashing into the sidewalk cruel and unusual?
I'm with you, Wo. Those people jumped to escape the flames, some burned on the way down. Inhuman. Inhumane. Waterboarding is too good for the animals who did this.
I am all for waterboarding! If it saves American lives, then it is worth it. Hitting the sidewalk and ending up a pancake is cruel and unusual punshment, but throwing water onto a terrorists in order to get them to talk and save lives is not cruel and inhumane treatment.
I'm not for interrogating the way an Arab would. There are lines the US should not cross. However the obama method (get the guy a lawyer and avoid harsh language) will always prove less than successful -- precisely his point.

I agree with LL on obama's "purpose."
